Hi guys, my dream came true on Saturday when I purchased a red GTV 3.0. Its got all the bells and whistles - GTA flywheel and clutch, GTA cams, Ragazzon exhaust, CDA, Dastek UniQ chip, Q2 diff, rebuilt heads, Koni shocks at the rear only, cup kit and 17" teledials.
I've got a question about the CDA. Is it better to drive without the pipe leading cold air from the vent in the front cup spoiler or is it better to keep the pipe on?
I'm going to contact the guy who did the heads but I'd like some opinion, is it necessary to re torque the heads after the rebuild?
I see in the history the radiator has been replaced, I don't see any signs of a thermostat having been replaced though...my car takes a while to get up to temperature, and by a while I mean a while...it hovers above 50 all the time, only in stop start driving in town it goes to sit at 90 or just below it. Should I replace the thermostat?
The front feels a bit wallowy, is it because it has the stock shocks in it or something else, the history also shows control arms etc has been replaced.
What are the signs of MAF failure?
My car has a slight jerk/hesitation on part throttle under 2000rpm, more so at 1500rpm ... its very very slight, as soon as I ad like 5% more throttle its better again...lol, what's this all about?
All in all its a great car, I love it, I don't like the seats as its not supportive at all, but the car begs to be rev'd and begs to be thrown round a corner, I'll admit I haven't done both yet as Im scared something will happen lol
