Re: Wheels for my GTV.
the GTV has a 5*98 pcd which means 5 bolts equally spaced on a radius of 98mm. which is uncommon however a lot of other maunafaturers have a 5*100 pcd which with the aforementioned wobbly bolts will fit a treat and are highly unlikely to cause any problems. this means that audi, volkswagen, volvo, citroen, fiat, lancia, rover, MG, Subaru, toyota to name but a few could all potentially fit. however you must bare in mind the centre bore of the hub which for the GTV is 58mm quite a few others are less than this so would require the centre bore to be re drilled after market wheels normally have oversized c/bore and provide spacer rings to down size the c/bore to fit the specific application. 18*8 and 19 inch rims are going to be a tight fit and the 19 will probably be a bit uncomfortable. getting the right offset will be crucial to avoid snagging body work be this with spacers or correct fit. in theory your chosen sizes can fit but be sure you can live with them i believe you can go to a 235 tyre at the front and upto a 265 at the back but in reality they are completely oversized for the cars requirements 225 should be more than enough it just depends if it gives the look you are after. you may find the 18inch rims from the GT fit and they have the fake bolt holes on the rim you are after. personnally 18" zender siennas look the muts on a gtv not sure multi spokes suit it as well imo.
If ignorance is bliss, why aren’t more people happy?
