Wave Spider tyres

Hi, any recommendations for good grippy tyres for a 2.0TS on 16*6.5 rims? Lifespan not that important as long as there's good wet & dry grip.

Re: Spider tyres

I decided to go a bit left of centre and try some Vredestein Ultracs on my Spider. I was n't sure about them at first, they needed bedding in, but have done about 2000 miles on them now and they seem to do the job well. They have a far more forgiving ride than the Eagle NCTs I had previously and seem to have reduced the various shakes and rattles on the Spider!

There are quite a lot of threads on tyres in the various forums here that you should be able to pick up on a search. These will give you lots of views.

Whatever you opt for, you don't need to pay "high street" tyre & exhaust prices. Buy over the internet from someone like BlackCircles with the fitting included which is carried out at a local independant dealers. You could save a packet.
