I fitted a new radiator to the Spider during the summer, but just a couple of K miles later,it has now started pi55ing out coolant all over the engine bay!
I took off the slam panel yesterday to check that it wasn't (as I was hoping!), the top hose that had come loose, but no the rad has sprung a leak from the core right near the top of the frame.
Can anyone recommend a very excellent
sealant that might cure this issue? I really don't want to have to take the rad out and replace it (especially at this time of year - although I think this has convinced me to SORN the car and do it in the spring,or indeed let my local indie do it this time)
Fortunately the leak was slight enough not to have caused any overheating which was something at least...
