Will airbag from early P1 steering wheel fit in P2 steering wheel?

Hi there,
I was looking to take off my old P1 steering wheel, which is four-spike, and replacing it with the standard 3-spike GTV steering wheel from later models.
But I have now been told that the airbag may not fit the wheel because of the difference.
Does anyone know about this?

No such thing as a P2 steering wheel. The three spoke wheel was introduced in early 1997 as a modification to the P1.

The airbag is totally different and the clockspring also changed. So you'll need all three parts.

EDIT : Updated info on clockspring.
