Strange but true. Alfas have feelings.
how about this for bizzare, and this is totally true and my friend was in the car aswell and witnessed it. OK so as i've posted before i have a 97 spider with a problem, the speedo hasn't been working for the last month, so i'm driving down the M1 towards London middle lane following cars so as not to inadvertently speed too much. Hood down sun shinning, loverly, then i see in my rear view mirror, shock of shocks, bright red alfa spider (number plate S9 DER) if you happen to ever come on this forum. Any way said spider comes past me (rather attractive blonde girl by the way) and i tuck in behind in a little convoy, anyway after following the other spider for mile or so my speedo starts to flicker a tad, turn to my friend and mention this, then it starts to go mad, from 40 to 80 and back again then 40 to 80 again, after few moments of crazyness it settles at 75-80 miles an hour, and is only blummin fixed, for 2 days now its been cured. Maybe i am a bit sad or crazy but i like to think it was something to do with the other spider, like a herbie moment maybe. Who knows.
P.S. quite a few spiders in london town this weekend, it's funny i'm such a fan of spiders and always have been and i see one and oggle, then realise i'm in one aswell THE most pretty car care this side of Ferrari or Aston Martin.
