Ahh such a warm welcome. I hope Mike gets his tab back on his defroster. There are a couple of things about conductive epoxy and defroster tabs. Defrosters pull a good deal of power so the bonding agent must have a very high silver loading or the bond will be resistive and heat up beyond what is safe for the glass. Next the epoxy needs to be designed make a very good structural bond between metal, glass and the defroster surface. Third the bonding agent need to have a fast cure time to minimize the fussing about. Frost Fighter does not re-brand anything. Our materials are designed and made by us for this specific purpose.
As to my choice of vehicles, not everyone is lucky enough to drive an Alfa. Regards, DOC
