Moaning ALARMING SPIDER ('97 R Meta system)

Might be a bit scuppered folks. Been away for 6 wks and tried to jump-start the beastie but the alarm's going mad and I've had to put the car in the garage and shut the door!! Alas we've no master key. Any ideas on what we can do??

Wonder if you've confused the alarm. I did something similar...try making sure the beeps correspond to unlocking or vice versa.

Or you could try taking the battery off, sometimes alarms go off because of low batteries...and if you've been away for six weeks.

Mines a P2 gtv not spider, so maybe different location, but the alarm brain is behind the radio, acess via passenger side . You can as a temporary measure remove the 2 fuses from the unit. Car should still be drivable alarm does not have an immobiliser.
