2.0 V6 TB Engine

Do any one have experience with a 2.0 V6 TB engine.
I have heard rumors saying it should less robust compared to the oher Busso V6 engines (2.5, 3.0 and 3.2)

I have seen a Spider 2.0 V6 TB for sale and are considering buying it, but would like to know if it would be better to buy a 3.0 or 3.2 V6 spider.

I do like the V6 TB because it has a better torgue at lower rpm but has been worried by people saying it is not so robust

A myth from N/A V6 people?

A maintained engine and if you continue to maintain it should not give you problems.

I have been spanking my engine for many years now and so far no big broblems, let
the engine warm up before you put heavy throttle/boost on and and let the turbo spin
down before turning off the engine.

A TB engine is not less robust. A TB engine IS a bit more complex due to the added turbo, and it IS more sensitive, especially regarding ignition, and the very long air intake-system can be problematic with small air-leakages. You need to invest in a good set of sparkplugs and leads, make sure the camshafts and valves are 100% and properly adjusted and make sure the oil level is high quality and at max ALL THE TIME ALWAYS AND ALWAYS AND ALWAYS. The TB is also more sensitive to weather, on dry, hot days it doesn't run that well, on cold, rainy days it runs very good

Motor management is less advanced compared to the 24V engines. Unless the TB you want is in perfect condition, i would advice a 24V

Having said that, a 2.0 V6 TB Spider is extremely rare... it's worth buying if not in very good condition, and have it taken care of with a lot of TLC and $$$
