Strange Passenger speaker noise

Hi to all,
I have just fitted a parrot asteroid head unit really nice bit of kit however with the security fascia removed with the car running i get a whirring noise from the passenger side bass speaker and tweeter.
If i re-fit the fasia panel the whirring dies down a little but doesnt completely go.
Anyone been thru this scenario yet.
Just short of doing a complete stereo refit just curious to know if i needed to add an extra earth under the hood ?
I have heard of ground loops and interference
The alternator is a new bosch unit and the secondary plug leads are bosch ones but not the bakerlite ones they are the ones with the metal sleeve down them if thatmakes sense. The only earth leads i can think of under the bonnet are the gearbox to body flat type earth lead and the earth lead that is by the throttle body on the corner of the cylinder head.
Is it worth adding some extra earths under the hood ????
