Before you go to the dealer try this, Check the air intake just before it enters the engine ( after the maf on the bend, where it looks like a bellows) this may have a split which will let in extra air without the maf knowing, this upsets the engine management system and the lambda sensor.
This i found on my sons gtv after a new lambda sensor was fitted by the local dealer £90 for the computer check and £120 for the lambda sensor which did not fix the problem. Fixed it my self temp with some gaffa tape wrapped around the pipe, worked ok for 3 weeks until new airflow part £35 arrived. The c.d. manual for the gtv says that this should be the first area to check? NOT DONE BY THE DEALER, COULD THIS BE THAT THEY DONT MAKE MUCH IF THEY SORT THE PROBLEM FIRST TIME.
