Side Repeater removal

Is there a special technique to remove the side repeaters from the GTV? I suspect a deft flick/prod with a screwdriver will release the clamp but I am scared of scratching etc

Done the 156 Saturday using a cut off section form a platic coke bottle sliding it in from th rear of the sidelight and pushing the clip, no scratches no marks but did break both the orange repeater, white look much nicer!!

Re: Side Repeater removal

i got a piece of fishing gut and slid it under the back end of the repeater, and then slowly pulld it away from the car. once pulled far enough i pu a little screwdriver in the space and flicked the little clip out. bot repeaters come off whole, but it is fiddly. i have a dark black chrome type thing, v.understated luvn em.
