Over priced for the age mileage and the fault. Look to pay around 700

its just not worth it when its done 140K imo. The potential cost of getting it sorted could be insane. I just reckon your better of spending 3k for a good 70k mileage example thats just had everything done. It works out cheaper and you get a better car. Even if you get the 1k project car sorted its always gonna be worth nothing with high mileage.

Its not really the mechanicals. Its more the cosmetics and the tyres. And your "time" fetching parts and doing the mechanical stuff.

I'd buy that for the quads and then assess the rest. Def worth a punt. Waterpumps nothing.
Thanks for sharing...If it's about at the weekend, it's only up the road for me, and may ask to go and look.

It depends on how you look at it, the performance exhaust is worth good money on its own, plus the wheels etc... If you have a friendly garage it may be well worth buying. Make sure you put some money aside for getting it running in tip top condition and best of luck. Could be a bargain.

Doesn't have the aero kit, only has a rear spoiler, aero kit has a lot more including vented wing inserts, front splitter, etc.

Priced reasonably BUT only if you consider:-

I think it needs another 2500 to bring it up to spec - using an indie. Knock 1.k off that if doing it yourself.

I'd be looking at the cam belt, spark plugs, rear suspension bushes all 14 of them, oil cooler and pipes.

Then you need to think about the front wishbones - they only last about 20K.

Also at that mileage you must be thinking clutch. 140k - I am impressed if it is indeed the original. If you replace then another 1k if you go down the original route and replace the dmf flywheel at the same time. Most of us will use the GTA flywheel and clutch - still about 700 or 1300 if you put a Q2/Quaife diff in (highly recommended) at the same time.

You may also wish to examine the tyres and brakes - still more money should they need replacing anytime soon

My point? These are not cheap cars to maintain - do not buy one and expect to just drive it after replacing the water pump. There will be substantial running costs.
