Ever since my ph2 front seats were stolen (long story) and replaced with a set of "not-as-good" ph2 seats, I have been craving for 3 things:
1. Tan leather
2. More lateral support
3. More legroom/Height
Admittedly the only route are the Sparco Milano/ Sparco Milano 2 but at $1300 each + U.S shipping AND possible customs problems this is not really an alternative.
Corbeau RRS, my favourite at around £400 a seat, are an option but they only come in black and I want the ones with red stiching which seem to be discontinued.
Recaro recliners in leather (or leather-like) are too expensive
I got a bit compulsive, checking all the possibilities until I found seats from a company called Cipher Auto, specifically their CPA series....
CPA2001 Euro Series : Cipher Auto!, Automotive Parts Accessories & Universal Racing Seats
At $900 a set + shipping they look like a good compromise (maybe £650 delivered) AND I can get them in Tan
(which would look well nice if I could also get the back seats and the door trim in the same colour from a 2003 spider/gtv) and also black with red stiching (which I think suits alfas very nicely).
The backing is also finished in carbon (altough a wrap, not full carbon).
What I don't understand is why big manufactures insist on doing horrible seats in blue, yellow etc etc I don't ask for much, just a nice recliner with some nice red stiching.
Anyone got any better ideas?
On another note, these look good
and at a "steal" compared to other seats on ebay....however still too much I feel given the cost of my car
