I am having a small dilemma on my GTV, basically trying to work out what is normal and what is not.
This is my current setup:
The wheels are 16" teledials fitted with 205, 50 rv16 tyres.
It has 5mm spacers on every corner.
The spacers are not hub centric and are therefore a **** to put the wheels on.
The wheelbolts seem too short (i will measure later) and appear to have only a few turns before being tight. Worse still 2 bolts on each wheel appear to be from a steel wheeled punto and are very short, Only 2 turns before being fully tightened and cannot be torqued to 100nm.
Despite the spacers, my rear wheels seem to sit quite deeply in the rear arches.
Can someone please advise:
Does the ts GTV have spacers as standard on any wheels?(I know the 145 does as standard).
If so, what thickness and where?
Is it likely that someone has fitted 156 Tele's to my car and how can i tell?
If they are 156 wheels, what is the correct spacer combo I should be using?
my next move of course is to replace the spacers. I am thinking of getting the 5mm + Bolts from Alfisti for the rear and 3mm for the front. If i find i have 156 wheels then i might source some GTV wheels and run without spacers.
Any advice much appreciated
