Gaz, cheers mate, I do like the sound of the v6 as it is now so putting standard bit back on make sense.
Any idea of the cost?
Btw ur GTV flies! Had no chance of keeping up and with the 155 up my chuff on every bend I prob would of been better hanging back at the rear. I'll know for next time!!
Alec who was in the 155 is a bit of a nutter but a bloody good driver. He always embarrases the V6 cars
Who ? Me ?
the sound of V6s, but on driving weekends like these I would always bring the twinny.
On a track I would opt for a V6 each time, unless of course it's a very twisty track.
The 155 is infinitely chuckable, handles like on rails, and sticks to the road like the proverbial to a blanket.
Ideally I'd like V6 sound with the weight of a TS engine
Plus mine's not standard, has some mild upgrades - straight through SS cat-backbox, flowed head, and re-map, probably kicks out about 170.
Have braided brake lines all round, Super blue racing fluid, and DS2500 pads for serious driving, for everyday I've got Ultimax pads.
Am looking to upgrade the brakes further by getting some 4 pot calipers under the 15" wheels on standard discs, i know of a company near by me which says it can fit 300mm discs with 4 pots under a 13" wheel
