I've had my 98 GTV T Spark for a few months now (my second one) and it's been running pretty well - until today. Did a 60 mile drive yesterday - all well, but today it went lumpy half way through a short drive out - like it's on three cylinders rather than four. Seems 'okay' on idle but as soon as you blip the accelerator it's very lumpy indeed. I disconnected the MAF but made no difference. The car had the Lambda done not too long ago, so I'm guessing that's okay. I recently fixed the top air intake pipe and air filter/box etc. I'm no mechanic, so will probably take it down to my local (and trusted garage after the weekend). (Oh - all timing belts sorted by Alfatech, Huddersfield soon as I bought it).
Just wondering if there might be anything obvious? No water in the engine that I can see - all looks dry, and spark plugs seem in place. Cheers!
