For Sale:Alfa GTV 1996 2.0 T.Spark Lusso
Hi, i am thinking of selling my alfa romeo gtv as it is giving me too much of a headache to be bothered to sort it out. The car is a non-runner, mainly becasue it is missing a couple of pieces. It is missing a fan unit, an aircon rad, and an engine mount. It does crank over and gives signs of starting but however it will not. I believe the car needs the parts mentioned and a service and it should be fully up and working again. This is an easy repair and should cost no more than £500 as long as it goes to a specialist rather than a dealer.
Now about the car, the bodywork is in immaculate condition with no scratches whatsoever. 1 sideskirt has a crack in it which needs to be replaced but again this is only £50. The car is a black lusso model and as such has full leathers which are in excellent condition with the alfa logo embossed on the front 2 seats. It has the cup alloys and the factory cup spoiler which was dealer fitted from new. The engine shows 59000 miles although i have no service history but the condition of the leathers would suggest it is a very genuine mileage. The car has been sat around for a couple of months now and therefore will need to be towed away. It can be heard cranking and anyone is welcome to come and view it. I am in Ilford, Essex just east of london. I am open to sensible offers but i a not looking for silly money for it. This car could be fixed and back on the road very quickly and could make a nice profit for someone. The sort of money i want you could replace the whole engine and still make a nice profit on it. I await any offers, let me know. Post a reply or send me an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
I hate to let my gtv go but i dont have the time or the money to fix it and i have a golf gti 1.8 turbo that is fulfilling my needs for the moment. The car is going to go up on ebay tomorrow evening with a load of pictures so have a look there too and maybe something can be sorted before the end of the auction. You are welcome to make offers before then of course. Thanks
