Injection Dash Light Help????

Hi, i recently brought an alfa gtv 1996/P reg with 60k on the clock. I brought it as a non-runner with a solid metal key hoping that the only reason for it not starting was the missing transponder key, and maybe not so much the missing fan and aircon rad. I purchased a new lock set and ecu and code box at a cost of £250 and changed everything around. The code light now goes off and flashes which i have been told means that the car is not protected by the immob system but will however start. However the injection system light ( looks like a valve spray ) goes off and immediately comes back on. My garage told me there were no sparks to the plugs. COULD ANYONE ADVISE ME IF THEY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND IF NOT WOULD ANYONE KNOW WHY THIS MIGHT BE HAPPENING.THE CAR IS OTHERWISE IMMACULATE AND I WANT IT TO BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN. PLEASE LET ME KNOW EVEN IF ONLY AN IDEA. THANKS

Forgot to mention that the car was peviously stolen and recovered and was recovered with some parts missing out of the engine. I can add pics if anyone thinks they can help but as far as i am aware they only took the fan and aircon rad. Could a relay be missing causing the engine not to start. ANYONE WHO CAN HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Also, anyone know of any good east london alfa specialists who i could take this to. Please help my alfa looks so nice but wont start
