Front Suspension Strut Bolt Torque Please!
Hi Alfisti, need your help again as my workshop manual is on my laptop which has been in with my computer guy for some major surgery for the last few weeks.
Have just replaced my driveshaft again and discovered that the reason for it failing was that the spring in the strut had become dislodged and as a result was not properly seated.
All back as normal now and am in the process of putting everything back together and have the torque's for all the other bolts bar the three that actually clamp the strut/spring to the car body, i am all too aware how these can be a pain if overtightened as they tend to snap in the actual strut so ....... has anyone got to hand the torque for those three or four bolts that secure the suspension upright to the car body (Front end) on a 916?
Many thanks as always.
