When it comes to sourcing tyres have a look at Tyres, Tyre Accessories and Vehicle Accessories | lovetyres.com
as there are some great savings and then just pay your local garage to fit them up for you.
Personally, I would not select Bridgestone as the ride quality / comfort is far too harsh for our roads. I had the RE050A Potenza and they were noisey, hard ride and tbh I hated them!
When I got my new alloys I went for Dunlop SportMaxx RT (225/45/17/Y) and worked out at £96.00 each fully fitted by Formula 1 Auto Centre (they actually worked out cheaper than Love Tyres, so worth a look on their site as well for offers). They made a huge difference to the cars handling and the tyre roar is virtually zero noise - they are about 68Db and both the dry and wet weather handling is beyond expectation IMO.
Tyre choice is of course quite subjective, some other good options would be...
- Conti Sport Contact 5
- Pirelli P-Zero
- Vredestein Sessanta (I think they only come in run flats, so would advise checking this)
BTW.. nice wheel style there in your link
Sorry, just noticed you live "Down Under" - no idea what your road quality is like there, but if it's not uber smooth then don't buy Bridgestone and you'll need to find a local tyre supplier.
