My car's engine management light has come on (orange). Alfa dealership wanted £50 to plug in their inspection equipment, local garage wanted £30.
I trust the local garage and they have all the kit so they looked at it, and the ECU reported one of the oxygene sensors failing (same as Lambda?). They replaced it but light has come on again, needs to be looked at again... I'll keep you posted.
Supposidly, it needs non-urgent attention when the orange engine management light comes on, but not as bad as when it flashes - 'get you to the nearest garage mode'
Incidently, there's two oxygene sensors in GTV's exhaust (before the CAT), even though mines the 2.0 Litre version (1 per pair of cylinders). I guess they just kept eveything the same as the V6 version.
