Abs ecu

afternoon chaps,

quick q about ABS ECU/pump. we have the 0265-216781 model in our spider, and I'm damned if I can find one. Dan @ autolusso drew a blank and nothing on ebay. are these units interchangeable at all?

They are interchangeable but ideally you need to see if the one you have has 2 or 3 rows on pins on the connector, 3 rows is an EBD one

oooh, so the 0265 module can be switched with an 0273 or an 0280 as long as they have the same number of rows?

well, mrs BobCat78 (aka juliett) managed to source one from a breakers yard and it got fitted yesterday. Apparently the whole unit had gone not just ECU or Pump. also passed it's MOT at the same time (with a few fixes - not sure what yet)

aye, me too.

the fixes were pitiful. offside headlight was shining too low and one other thing so minor i can't even remember!

now to get my Golf done - I reckon that's gonna be a bit worse
