Bloomin' MultiECUScan...

GTV 3.0 24v 1999(T)

Well, I've read right around the forum - but it's all very confusing and no clear picture seems to emerge from all of the many opinions given.

Put quite simply, what do I need to do/get to read the airbag and engine ECUs (and to reset the airbag light...) on a 1999 GTV 3.0?

As far as I can tell, it's an early (i.e. 1 lambda sensor) phase 2 model - if that makes any sense...

I have the exact same problem as you, and alot of other people by the sounds of things!
I think that its a common fault with the blue cable that i have... but i cant be sure and am not wasting any more of my money on it..

I think im just going to get a garage to reset it as i cba with trying to sort it out anymore!

I have got this cable using the latest FTDI driver; my laptop runs Vista. I run free versions MultiEcuScan & DnECUDiag as administrator. I had to manually set the com port to port 3. It is still a bit flaky and have to uninstall & re-install the driver sometimes but it works mostly. I have re-set MAF faults and the airbag light no problem as well as reading outputs from the various sensors in real time graphs.
