iŽd like to introduce myself and present my project of a spider 3.8 ...
The project basis on 3.2 Spider 2003 and starts in june 2012. In preparation of this motor conversion I changed the spring/coilover compo to Eibach/Bilstein, which brings more drivabilty than my Novitec/OEM compo, a Q2 and Brembo GT-Brake system front/rear mit EBC-red and goodrich steelfex.
The tires I changed to Toyo R888 for really nice results on the street....
Here are some pics.
Exhaust system is a ragazzon with normal big middle silencer and end silencer 2x70 mm, which sound good, but hopefully after the conversion a little bit louder.

based on the crank of 3.2
-with lightweight 101 mm pistons and liners (see picture)
-lightweight THS conrods H-Beam
-optimal gasflowed Heads
-special adapted headgasket
-AutoDelta manifolds without precats
-Carbon plenum made by selcuk
-thottle body Ferrari F430 (84mm)
We discuss a lot and ... 340 Bhp + are realistic???
The Engine is build for 102 oct. Aral ultimate....
For the first 1000 km's we use the stock ecu, afterwards we look for an aftermarket-Ecu like Adaptronic or Trijekt! Depends on the specialists who will find the best Solution for it.
The pistons/liners are really special lightweight from CPS Italy for higher rev!
For transmission i use just a new clutch from Sachs-Performance!
Topspeed is not really important for a Spider, or?"
