GTV Broken.. What to do
Not been on here in a while, my GTV has been off the road since november.
Dont know what to do with it, it's had a new timing belt and clutch and a few other bits in august (ish) last year (£1500), but since September it's been off the road. There is brake fluid flooding in behind the brake pedal, it's going through about 500ml of brake fluid every 1000 miles.
1). What would be needed to fix this (Master Cylinder for sure or could it be something else?) And can it be done by an amateur mechanic.
2). Bodywork is rough and some suspension needs to be done. Keep fighting the uphill battle or sell it for parts/repair?
(There are other considerations.. the kids dont fit in the back anymore for one!!)
-Along your favourite roads an Alfa Romeo GTV will worm its way into your affections, you too will become infected with virus Alfa Romeo and I am afraid there is little chance of a cure...
