Daft question - washers between the outer springpan and hub?
Daft question time -
Im in the process of changing over my rear springs - my spring pan arms were powerflexed a long time ago.......
Some thin metal washers 'fell out' on the floor when I removed the long outer bolt to separate the springpan from the hub from the wishbone and I didnt see where they came from, but presumed it would be either side of the springpan bush, in the 'inner' part of the hub.
However, on trying to put the bloody thing back together its insanely, ridiculously tight and after an hour of not so gentle persuasion I have given up.
Can someone please confirm that there should be metal washers between the bush and inner edges of the hub (both front and back), or not.
