Morning everyone - It seems my post started a lively debate!
I wanted to ask, should both the bumper iron plates be flush with the back of the car? The nearside plate (before I removed as the iron tubing had sheared off) was pointing slightly toward the nearside i.e. not 100% true parallel to the back of the car. I took a picture but my camera doesn't want to work with the laptop I'm currently using...
I've had a good look underneath now I have the wheels off and the back of the car on axle stands. Compared to the offside, I cant see any immediate damage but could you guys point me to areas that I should scrutinise carefully? I will try and post the pics later from a different computer. If you could use the simplest terms possible, that would help as I am on a steep learning curve with the suspension component names etc!!
