Year 2000, the rev lights fuse is F4 which also supplies the aircon compressor. It does other things besides but some of it may be market specific. So if the aircon compressor is engaging, then the fuse will be OK.
The reversing lights use connectors A & C on the fusebox with connector C supplying the two reversing lights with individual wires.
I suspect you either have an issue with connector G73C ( either at the base of the driver's A pillar or in the passenger footwell ), or the rev light switch. The switch is easy to test. Find the connector & switch on the gearbox ( can't help with precise location on a V6, but wires will be Light-Blue/Red and White ), unplug the connector and with the ignition switch on 'MAR', short out the two terminals on the connector ( use a straightened out paper clip or similar but watch it doesn't get hot and burn your fingers! ). The lights should come on if everything else is OK. If so, clean the plug/switch or replace the switch.
I have to nip out now so I'll post again in respect of the instruments.
