Triumph and Paranoia!

Triumph......have had the EOB thingy light on and off, days, weeks, hours at a time. Did a bit of trawling the threads in here and found someone mentioning a crack in an air pipe. Had a look today, there it was a crack in the biggish concertina type pipe. A bit of glue and tape, four starts and so far so good! Light out.....until tomorrow no dought!!

Paranoia......driving today noticed a whining, whistling metal rubbing type sound. Revved engine, didn't change so not from there, opened windows, definitely from outside probably drivers side, speed didn't seem to change it, apart from stopping! Had noise for about 6 miles, pulled away from roundabout, noise gone. Driven 50 or so miles since, no noise! Starting to think it may have been somebody else's car!! Going to holland this weekend and now I'm paranoid my wheels will fall off!!! And they will be quite useful for the journey! Passed mot 4 days ago!

The glue and tape is still working! Hurray!
Had another 2 seconds of that noise though. Have had her washed ready for the trip to Holland, perhaps she was complaining about being dirty, I do tend to get a similar pitched noise from the wife when she wants cleaning done aswell!!
