Another happy owner here too.
Had my twinnie spider for three years. Its uber reliable. I did get belts done, exhaust, brakes and oil changes etc, Thats been it though. The spider is my only daily driver and I use it in the snow and sun
. Its very practical with lots of space behind in the compartment for shopping. The boot holds most of my shopping and a saddle and bridle.
I was amazed at how adaptable the 916 spider is to everyday life.
The little car handles so very well and gives me lots of pleasure owing and driving it. Dont get me wrong its certainly not fast, but its respectable and pulls well up hills. Sits very well at 80mph on the motorway.
Inside the little car keeps warm in the winter and has no rattles or squeeks. In the summer you do need the hood down as the hood draws the heat. They do have air conditioning as well though.
I simply can't praise the little 916 spider enough really, it has so much character and looks so pretty, plus theres not that many around so it gets lots of looks mostly admiring ones too!
To sum my post up.........Buy one, you only live once... Whats not to like with these beasties.
