The assembly of the clutch pedal has a little "shock absorber" and that looks like the part is the top. The bottom of this part (I.e the female) fell from my clutch assembly and I found myself with a half operational clutch pedal!

If you are sure that your sure, then make sure that you get someone who can fix it! I think what can happen is
1. The other bit will get stuck behind the pedal (as what happened in my case) and jam the pedal
2. The clutch pedal can spring back too far and may pull the clutch master piston out....not something that you want to happen!
