^ Did this today, used a 3,0 0hm resistor from my local electronics dealer, cost me 10c. and took about half an hour with the battery wait included. I didn`t drive the car but I did start it and the airbag warning light went out as it should so I suppose it is working.
For anyone reading this and doesn`t know how to remove the airbag, look to the top of your glove compartment, you see four holes with four 10mm bolt heads. Remove the four bolts and the whole panel above the glove box comes out, the airbag cartridge is bolted to it, slide it out to see the yellow wire behind it.
