Clutch, Cambelt and possible manifold gasket change
My cambelt needs doing at the end of July and i am thinking of getting the clutch done as well as its starting to judder sometimes when pulling away. Is it easier to do the two together or can i have them done separately as they have no similar procedures to split the cost?
I have heard stories about JTS cars needing manifold gaskets as the manifold comes loose more easily thanks to more catalytic converters and i think sometimes the car is a bit over loud on the motor way at 50-60 mph( seems fine above that) and in the morning when i reverse up the hill my dad says it sounds like the exhaust is blowing for a bit as i rev and pull away but it is only slight. With this in mind if there is some issue with the manifold is this better to get it done with any of the jobs above.
Any advice welcome as I live down south and like to have some info before i go to the garage.
