True Alex, but rather than them cutting into the hood or rear window i hope they will have the decency to just unzip the rear window as they will be unable to start the car due to the immobilizer and if there is nothing they can nick inside then they might just leave it at that? I have a removable facia stereo in my Spider although the facia itself normally resides in the glovebox so they would most likely bust that open anyways. My advice is leave nothing in your Spider in view to the public as they are incredibly easy to get into without damage and as PaulR says with a knife they are simples to get into.
PaulR, the alarm was not armed as the keys were in the ignition and sidelights on along with stereo and satnav. My car has developed a bad habit this year in the cold weather of locking itself if the driversdoor is slammed shut so i guess i need an inspection of the central locking actuator on the drivers side to see what the problem might be?
