Found Some Interesting Old Photos Of My GTV

Just thought I'd share a few photos I've discovered of my GTV from 2009.

I was giving the car a good clean throughout ready for sale yesterday and spotted the "Giro Panoramico 2009" sticker in the corner of the windscreen. I'd obviously seen it before, but never really took too much notice. But I Googled it and it took me to the Alfa Romeo Owner's Club Cotswolds Section's website, but their photo galleries only went back to 2010. It did, however, say to contact them if you wanted any photos from earlier events, so I did was pleasantly surprised to receive a swift response along with a couple of photos added and the promise of more if there were any from other events.

The photos show the car looking much the same as it does now except it wore a different set of wheels to the standard teardrops it's on now and was when I bought it.

Furthermore, I decided to dig out the Alfa magazines that came with the car when I bought it and found another photo in there. I did look through them when I first bought the car, but never spotted the photo as I didn't recognise it on the different wheels, but once I'd seen the photos I spotted this pic straight away. You can only really see the reg plate when you're looking for it and know its the car though.

Anyway, just thought I'd share and also now knowing that it was actively used in club circles, ask if anyone knew/recognises the car?

Can't help with any info about your car but I recognised the Cotswold Wildlife Park in the second pic. My Spider graced the "later cars" line-up at this year's 50s Specials Day there in August.
