Do not get from an Alfa dealer - you would pay through the nose.

Alternative Autos is a respected independent parts supplier http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/alfa-romeo...item256c8181fb
or do a search for [alfa gtv clutch kit 2.0] on ebay for pattern parts, if you do I would suggest you stick to well known manufacturers like Valeo, Borg & Beck, etc.

The release bearing was the faulty design. If buying a kit make sure you get one with the updated bearing not old stock cos the original were rubbish. The bearing was held on the plastic backing by a flimsy curcular ring which can come off during gearbox fitting or during use.Even Valeo/luk have upgraded it.

I bought a genuine alfa clutch from Shop4parts for the bargain price of 100+VAT. If they ship to Australia then they may be worth considering.

This has the dodgy "plastic" release bearing. Any tips on how to get the best life from it? I tend to drive with reasonable sympathy on the clutch.
