2.0 Ts slow to rev and stops at 4500 - MAF replacement candidate?
I just looked at a tidy 98 GTV but the 2.0 Ts under the hood has the following symptoms
1. On idle - seems to slightly rev up and down ( noticed it when I was out of the car)
2. Not inclined to rev too quickly
3. Stops reving at all at 4500
All under load - I forgot to try it out of gear when we stopped.
Apart from that I'd be inclined to take a chance on it - is this a symptom of the MAF needing to be replaced or is it something a bit more sinister?
Timing belt was replaced 20000 miles ago.
