Congratulation fella!

Look at it this way. You got your Alfa fixed, you got a new job and on a mano-a-mano with a Mercedes van (based on your photos) your Alfa... how is it the Americans put it??? Ah yes: Opened a can a whoop ass on it. Congrats. The God's are smiling on you.

The way I see it you're on a roll mate. What next? Bumping in to Cameron Diaz at the local pub and her pleading with you to come back to her place for a wild night of wanton debauchery involving Belgian truffles, a very large wooden spoon and a packet of Polo Mints. You lucky man you.

I hate to tell you though Stixy! even though they wish to settle outside of insurance ...... if you have already been in contact with your own insurance you will still pay an inflated premium for the next 5 years even though the accident was not your fault. If you fail to declare it? you will legally not be insured. If you have not already told your insurance? then Happy days.

Well done on getting a job. The car is looking just as good as it does before.

My insurers count an accident when I was hit from behind, driving a pool car on their insurance as me having an accident. It really is a pain, someone hits you from behind your insurers want to ramp up your premiums for it.
