possible solution for airbag light

I've got FiatECUScan and have been regularly resetting the airbag light. It was always the same error - driver's side pretensioner. Anyway, I did some experimentation and it would come on without fail when moving the driver's seat. After feeling around under the seat, it seems the connectors just hang down. What seems to be happening is that the connector snags on the rear floormat! I've taken out the rear floormats and now I can move the seats without triggering the warning light. Obviously a better solution is to sort the connection or tape it up out of the way, but I thought I'd mention this in case any one else has the same thing.

Seems so odd driving without that damn airbag light burning my retina.

Here's another tip:

1: Original connector

2: After some work with the melting glue gun (or whatever it's called in english)

3: Finally after some turns of vulcanizing tape the connector has the bending protection it should have had from the factory.

Hopefully this will save me from future problems with the pretensioner connector.

Or simply replace the connector with a choc block, probably the easiest Alfa fix of all time.
