Wheel bearing and abs sensor
Now then i am having to stop myself going and setting my 2001 spider alight. Having had a noisy wheel bearing at the front i went to replace the passenger side and the removal of the hub carrier etc isnt too bad but removing the abs sensor to withdraw the old bearing meant that the abs sensor has been damaged and the abs light is now on . Worse still is the wheel bearing noise is still there! So obviously got the wrong one but if i replace the other one no doubt the other sensor as well will get damaged.
As the sensors are circa £60 to replace this could get expensive , or is their another way of removing the bearing without disturbing the sensor? Or maybe try to get a complete second hand hub carrier with sensor .
