spider 916 single speaker

Hi gang,
Just installed a new sound system in my spider.
We have the single rear speaker /sub , as you know its dual voice coil wired.
I am fitting a single voice coil sub,
How do I connect the single voice sub ......
We have L and R speakers positive and negative gong into the dual voice sub, how do I bridge ,if I do , the four wires to just get the two wires for my single coil sub?????
I don't want to put an amp in as the stereo is more than capable of powering it up.....
Thankyou in advance
if your not 100% sure please don't reply I don't want to blow my stereo by crossing the speakers

AFAIK, you can't bridge the two rear channels! You have to wire the speaker on either left or right channel, but don't worry, it won't make any difference unless you play with HU balance. However, I doubt it will make any difference without an amplifier. And it's actually not a good ideea to do this if the speaker is a proper subwoofer. Btw, what speaker and what HU are you using?
