Ok well, I bought some of this stuff anyway to treat the new
seatcover I swapped from a GTV passenger seat to the spider. There was some slight cracking on the bolster
(P1 97 model) but overall not too bad so thought this stuff could help.
Overall I think I'm fairly satisfied with the product. It's basically a cream die which also purports to 'feed' the leather. The 50ml pot is quite small but it covers very well, I used about 1/8 possibly less on the leather parts of one P1 seat. You apply let it seep in and dry
the polish off. The cracks will not disappear but they become heavily disguised and one hopes genearlly more supple. The company that makes or packages the stuff www.leatherrepaircompay.com
has some videos and advises use of their special cleaners
before application. I used mild kitchen cleaner and then meths to degrease rather than the specialist costly products - seems OK. They also advise a sealant post application
which I am still trying to replicate. Tried a few things but the die is still coming off albeit
only slightly. Will add to this post if I find out more..
Hope this helps a bit.
