Exhaust Recommends for my GTV

Hi Gang

My back box is still ok'ish at the moment but I think by next MOT - roughly May I think - it will probably be close to end of life as it is getting crustier as I watch it

I was thinking about getting a stainless exhaust system perhaps though its not a cert and I may just go for a standard.
Do you guys have any recommended dealers/types of exhaust to fit etc, I am based in North Wales but can travel if needs be.
I am not too bothered if its sporty or not though I must admit my 1978 MGB GT does sound sexier than the Alfa and that just has a standard exhaust on it - the Alfa trounches it performance wise though

oh yeah its a 1998 S-Reg 2.0 TS - nothing special but by god are these cars fit

Yeah, I think MIJ are the best bet, given your location. Unless you want to spend more on some ragazzon bits. They can also make it as loud or as quiet as you like, which you wont get with an off-the-shelf exhaust.

Another for MIJ, had mine fitted a couple of months ago. For the price you can't go wrong. Very pleased with mine (even if the silencer does sit a bit low). Seems well made and nice selection of tailpipes to choose from; mine is larger than the OEM tip, but the same shape and fits the cut-out perfectly.
