got to agree with some of the others here.... you always look at more expensive cars, then say "wish we could afford this". If it is going to be your daily drive, start picking faults with your existing car.... "honey, have you driven my car lately? The clutch feels real heavy...." "honey, you know the other day, when you drove the car, did you feel like you were going to make a U-Turn when you turned the steering wheel? It is SOOOO light, can't believe it compared to your car...."
Then in parallel, start, "Most of the cars I want are between X&Y but we are only going to spend Z. I agree with you... spending between X&Y is too much.... Then afte a while.... Honey, can't find anything for Z, but this GTV came up and it is about Y. I reckon i could get it for Y-$xxx.... i know it is a littl emore than WE want to spend... but it's pretty good value.... they normally go for more.... hey and at least I'm not spending between X&Y....
