An oil additive that works
Yes- just changed the oil in my twinnie for the second time during my ownership and added Activ8oil additive to the Castrol Magnatec 10w40 Part Synthetic oil. Don't know why they continue with that hype, it's still mineral oil unless it's fully synthetic.
Anyway, I've used Activ8 in several engines and been pleased with the results- same again this time- the engine "feels" zippier and more powerful. It's only similar to a cutting oil but really seems to work. It's £75 a litre retail and 125cc is required in the engine. I haven't got round to adding 60cc to the gearbox oil yet, or stirring a few drops in the grease for the wheel bearings.
I've had people say- "if it was any good, the oil companies would add it as standard"- all I know is that I can feel the difference and it works in the cars in whose engines I've used it.
No connection, etc. etc.
