How to guide , fit a new slave cylinder prt 1
Tools needed. 3/8 drive deep 13 mm socket and ext's THIS GUIDE FOR 2.0 TS PHASE 2
special brake pipe spanner 13 mm , 7 mm ring spanner for bleeding
Soak the brake union pipe overnight with penetrating oil
undo the brake union pipe at front right of slave. then nip up
undo and remove the 2, 13 mm bolts (that hold slave in place) care of 2 washers, remove the 2 plates above the slave note order (digital photos help for re-assembly) move the slave to one side.
Then if you want to LUBRICATE the top brass bush, remove the operating arm (by removing the circlip on top) then prise the arm up and off (arm can only go on one position but mark with white paint anyway. now to remove the top bush, (its a interference fit) lever prise up with a 1/4 inch chisel and scewdriver remove complete, clean in side and grease.
I dripped some oil down the shaft to lubricate the bottom bush BUT THATS UP To YOU as obviously to don't want to get any oil on the clutch
End of part One
