Redyeing a Soft Top

Hello All,

I was thinking of replacing my soft top, however I'll try to restore it first. I've purchased Renovo canvas cleaner and protectant. They do not offer a Tan dye. Has anyone tried the Leatherique dye for canvas tops? Any other brand suggestions?

Why don't you ask the manufactures if it could be used on canvas. I don't see why not though as fabric will absorb colour and once it is coated with waterproofer it will be sealed.

Word to the wise- keep all dye products off the bodywork. My Rosso spider has several dark streaks on the hood cover panel and doors where a previous owner wasn't careful about that.

Renovo is not brilliant.. It gets everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE.
Not a good look on a freshly resprayed Rosso Spider. Ask me how I know..
