No worries mate - we have nothing against people sharing good deals they've seen.

Halfords tools are generally pretty good - especially the Professional range - I've used them for the last 3 years or so, since I bought a socket and spanners set as an emergency measure after my tools were nicked from my unit. Been very pleased with them - just wait for the offers to be on!

The Pro Range has a lifetime warranty that is realy usable "not that i have had to" But the main jist is you brake a peice you then take it with the recipt to any store with stock and they will give you a new one on the spot.

I got one of the realy big sets and the only thing i could fault is the Latches on the protective case are not tight enough.

Been using mine for the last 20 years. Had the socket drive break a year in and was instantly replaced with no quibble. No problems since. I also bought a set of their ring and open-ended spanners. They've been good to me.

good tools have a magical quality. I have a nice Teng set i've had for about 20 odd years. I'm sure they give me special powers in those dark times when i'm up to my knees in inappropriate automotive fluids and surrounded by newly orphaned car parts.

They are also doing some good deals on their expensive tool chests and cabinets, buy a cabinet and get the chest free. Not cheap but good value compared with alternatives.
