Hi guys, i am new here,
I need some advice, i have owned a 1997, Alfa GTV for the last 11 years, ( 1 previous owner) the last 2 is has been a second car and has been neglected. In the last year i have driven the car for no more than 3K miles, mostly it is parked outside my house. It currently has about 140 miles on the clock. It has door damage to the passengers side and the roof lining, has come down. Last year, i spent nearly £800 on having it serviced, cam belt change, front exhaust, tensioners changed. It is taxed with 9 months MOT. It has seems to overheat when when parked up for months on end, after been driven for a day to seems to be fine. I drove it the garage took 40 minutes in traffic, didn't heat up.
Guess what i am asking is, my local alfa specialist - has offered me £100 for it as a donor car.. Should i advertise it and see what i could get - well what could i get... or just forgo the hassle and let them have it.
My wife thinks just sell it. I don't plan on keeping it but would like to get more for it, obviously. So something in this condition what would it go for would there be any interest.
Your advice or pointers would be really appreciated.
